Hello Rafters,
| It’s that time of year again to start planning your raft for our Charity Raft Race from Millmead, Guildford, to the Waterside Centre, near Stoke Bridge, 2kms of sheer fun for all concerned.This year the event will be run principally to raise money for the Guildford Lions Charity Trust Fund, which is used to assist local charities and other deserving causes. |  |
| The entry fee is only £20 per raft but we are expecting you all, as usual, to put that little bit of extra effort into the sponsorship campaign and raise, as a minimum, at least £100 per raft. Please remember that this event is run to raise money for the Charity Trust fund and every penny of your sponsorship will be donated to this charity. | |
| If you wish to support a charity or deserving cause of your own choice then it certainly can be considered in the allocation of funds after the event. All sponsorship raised by youth organisations will be returned to them. | |
| We would like you all to enter into the spirit of the event by decorating both your raft and yourselves in any manner you choose. Try to be colourful, entertaining, promotional etc. as there are prizes for the ‘Best Presented, General and Youth Rafts’ and a ‘Best Designed Raft’ award. | |

Please find Entry Form together with the Conditions of Entry. Subject to your agreeing with the Conditions of Entry, please complete the Entry Form and send it as early as possible, together with the entry fee of £20, so that we can plan the event in good time. | As soon as we have your completed entry form and fee we will allocate you a Raft Number and send you Sponsorship Forms so that you can design your raft and start raising money. | |
