Easter Monday 9th April 2012

I’m delighted to say that in spite of the elements being against us at Shalford Park yesterday we still entertained around 600 people, a large number of dogs and also made a small profit (subject to final audit).

Whilst understandably most of the Car Booters and Classic Cars stayed at home the Dog Show and Farmers Market were very successful.

What might have been a “washout” was salvaged by the hard work and enthusiasm of all the Lions helping and the generosity of the Guildford Public who were very appreciative of the work done by Guildford Lions.

On behalf of the St Catherine’s Hill Fayre committee, a big thank you to all those who got cold and wet yesterday – your efforts were very much appreciated by us!
