Fantastic Fireworks Fiesta – £35,000 raised
After deductions for operating costs about £20,000 of a total of £35,000 will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Group at the Waterside Centre in Stoughton and the national Surrey Advertiser SAP Poppy Appeal after a hugely successful Guildford Lions Fireworks Fiesta in Stoke Park on Thursday evening.
Our special thanks must go to our supporters and sponsors – Memset, Lloyds TSB, 96.4 Eagle Radio and Guildford Borough Council without whom the event could not take place. And also to the people of Guildford who gave so generously on the night.
