Now we headed north across lovely
Hampshire countryside to the M4 at
Hungerford and headed west. Our next
stop at Pennsylvania should have been a
quick run, but once more holiday traffic
held us up for over half an hour - very
frustrating. |

Jenny now took over the driving and
soon got used to the easy style of the
Mazda6 Tamura that had been loaned to us
by Guildford Mazda.
By now the M4 was
clear and we had an easy run over the
Severn Bridge to Christchurch near
Newport. We chose this Christchurch
instead of others because we had to go
along the M4 anyway and it was a short
run off and back on. |

Jenny drove on to the last junction
on the M4 whilst I had a doze. Here we
refuelled and had a friendly chat with
the local Traffic Cops who were very
interested to know what we were up to.
No donation though!
Bethlehem is a
small village in Carmarthenshire and
some cross country motoring on local
lanes took us to this lovely location as
it was starting to get dark.
The Post Office here is famous as it
is very popular at Christmas for those
wishing to get this famous location
stamped on their cards. |

Next a long run back into England
via Brecon and Hereford brought us to
Wellington on the A49 south of Ludlow. |

Jenny had had a hard week at work
and was suffering from a cold, so felt
she should have a doze before driving
any more, so I took over and had a
pleasant drive along the A44 through
Bromyard to Worcester. Then onto the
M5/M42 to get to Hollywood, to the south
of Birmingham and not too far from MD HQ
at Kings Heath.
